Powerful V2 Engine and Impressive Performance
At the heart of the Multistrada is a modern 890 cc 90° V2 (L-Twin) engine with 4 valves per cylinder. Delivering a maximum power output of 115.6 hp (85 kW) at 10,750 rpm and peak torque of 92.1 Nm at 8,250 rpm, the powerplant delivers smooth and responsive power thanks to Ride-by-Wire electronic fuel injection and Euro 5+ compliance. Power is transferred through a 6-speed gearbox paired with a wet multiplate slipper clutch featuring self-servo assistance. With an average fuel consumption of approx. 5.5 l/100 km and a 19-liter fuel tank, the motorcycle achieves an estimated riding range of around 340 km.
Chassis, Suspension, and Brakes
The Multistrada V2 features an aluminum monocoque frame paired with a steel trellis rear subframe. The standard Multistrada V2 is equipped with a Ø45 mm USD front fork (170 mm travel) and an adjustable rear monoshock. The V2 S model elevates riding comfort with electronically adjustable Marzocchi suspension powered by Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS). Stopping power is provided by Brembo M4.32 radial monobloc calipers clamping twin Ø320 mm front discs and a Ø265 mm rear disc, controlled by Cornering ABS.
Advanced Electronics and Features
Both models come equipped with a comprehensive electronic safety and performance suite: Riding Modes, Power Modes, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Engine Brake Control (EBC), and Cruise Control. Information is clearly displayed on a 5-inch TFT color screen, supplemented by Full LED lighting. The V2 S model includes Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up/Down 2.0 as standard.
Ergonomics and Color Options
Weighing 199 kg dry (202 kg for the V2 S) with an adjustable seat height between 830 and 850 mm, the bike offers excellent ergonomics on 120/70 ZR19 front and 170/60 ZR17 rear tyres. The standard V2 comes in classic Ducati Red, while the V2 S offers a choice between Ducati Red and Storm Green.
