The Ducati Panigale V2 and Panigale V2 S represent a flawless synthesis of pure racing passion, elite Italian design, and cutting-edge engineering. At the heart of both models lies the newly developed Ducati V2 90° L-Twin engine displacing 890 cc, featuring Desmodromic distribution and 4 valves per cylinder. This powerplant delivers 120 hp (88 kW) at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm, fully compliant with Euro 5+ emission standards. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a 6-speed transmission equipped with the advanced Ducati Quick Shift Up/Down 2.0 system and a slipper wet multiplate clutch.
The chassis layout centers on an aluminum Monocoque frame paired with a double-sided aluminum swingarm. The defining distinction between the two models lies in their suspension components and overall weight:
- The standard Panigale V2 features fully adjustable Marzocchi USD Ø43 mm front forks and a Kayaba rear shock absorber, cast aluminum wheels, and a dry weight of 176 kg.
- The Panigale V2 S elevates performance to a premium level with fully adjustable Öhlins NIX30 USD front forks, an Öhlins rear shock, lighter sports wheels, and a reduced dry weight of just 173 kg.
Stopping power is supplied by top-spec Brembo M50 radial monobloc calipers clamping dual 320 mm front discs, governed by Cornering ABS. Both models wear sticky sports tires (120/70 ZR17 front and 190/55 ZR17 rear).
The electronics suite is derived directly from racing technology and navigated via a 5-inch color TFT display. It includes four Riding Modes (Race, Sport, Road, Wet), Power Modes, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Engine Brake Control (EBC), Launch Control, and a Pit Limiter.
